About

Prof. D. H. Dethe completed his doctoral research from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (2005), followed by Post-Doctoral Research (2005-2008) at ICES, Singapore under the supervision of Prof. K. C. Nicolaou. He then joined as Senior Research Scientist at Albany Molecular Research Inc., Singapore in 2008. He then move to NCL, Pune as an Assistant professor in 2009. . He joined the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, in 2011, where he currently holds the position of Professor of Chemistry. His work has been recognized by CSIR young scientist award (2011), OPPI young scientist award (2011), Young associate of Indian academy of sciences (2011-2014), AVRA Young Scientist Award (2015). His broad areas of Research Interest include Organic synthesis, Natural product synthesis, Transition metal catalysis, Asymmetric synthesis.
